Had great range. Could blanket the deep half of the field. Had the man-coverage skills of a cornerback and could handle slot receiver duties. Was very instinctive and could come out of nowhere to get the pick. Was not a lights-out hitter and did not wrap for tackles well enough. Was sometimes slow to react and could be caught out of position from time to time. Did not cover as much ground as he probably should.
