Duffy signed a minor-league contract with the Rangers on Monday that includes an invitation to spring training.
Scouting Report
Has great stuff and can be a workhorse with a bulldog mentality on the mound. Possesses loads of strikeout ability. Can both start and relieve in the bigs. Gets into trouble when he starts walking too many batters, since he is then forced to give into batters. Generally lacks polish. Injuries and stamina are issues.
Long Range Potential: Versatile left-hander.
