A very cerebral player, both at the plate and in the field, he is patient and a quality hitter for both average and power. Displays a strong throwing arm and solid defensive instincts. May lack the range to play shortstop on an everyday basis in Major League Baseball, so a move to either second or third base is likely. Does not own great speed when on the bases.
