In his prime was one of the NBA's premier athletes and point-getters: could beat most players one-on-one and could jump over anyone. A fan favorite because of his exceptional dunking ability. Also a savvy veteran scorer and defender, and a solid passer & rebounder. Was injury-prone. Could be streaky, and at times leaned on his athleticism when he could have made better plays fundamentally. Occasionally got in trouble on and off the court due to poor decisions, leading to fines and suspensions.
