The Jets traded Carter and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Eagles in exchange for wide receiver John Metchie and a 2027 sixth-round pick, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Scouting Report
The ball-hawking nickel corner has the size and speed to match up with slot receivers. He has the quickness and recovery speed to play near the line of scrimmage but still handle downfield coverage. He must get better when playing the run but is showing he is also useful as a blitzer as well as on special teams.
Long Range Potential: Solid nickel defensive back.
