Gibson (knee) was placed on injured reserve Friday.
Gibson suffered a torn ACL in Sunday night's win over the Bills, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
A late bloomer in college, he shows enough versatility to win a jackknife role as a hybrid runner/receiver as well as a return man. Combines a thick, powerful frame with superior speed and playmaking traits. When deployed as a slot receiver, he beats the press with initial quickness and can split the seam to score from distance. Sufficient run-blocking skills will keep him on the field for extra downs. Lacks a convincing body of work; he will need further development to max out his abilities.
Long Range Potential: All-purpose, utility running back with upside.
