Strong-armed, athletic and highly mobile, he had good field vision and could quickly adjust to the pass-rush, thanks to very good scrambling ability for the pro game. Had a tendency to get picked off and lacked play-calling skills. Also lacked patience in the pocket and did not do the little things to get the most out of his athletic gifts.
