Scouting Report
Had good size and hockey sense from the back end. A dependable and savvy player, he excelled when given plenty of ice time in a shutdown role against top scorers. Lacked consistency in the offensive zone and did not produce huge numbers in the NHL. While he stepped up his physical play later on in his career, he was not a bruising defender overall.
Long Range Potential: Savvy, shutdown defenseman.
