Had a huge frame and knew how to use it to protect the puck. Owned defensive awareness and the versatility to play any role on a hockey team. Can also play all three forward positions. Never lived up to advanced billing as a scorer. Also, he lacked offensive consistency and confidence with the puck at the NHL level. Did not shoot the puck nearly enough, either.
Long Range Potential: Big, solid and versatile forward.
