Scouting Report
A durable netminder, he remained capable of handling a semi-regular job in the NHL into his 40s. Read plays well, was supremely athletic and was also a great teammate. Refused to quit on plays even when he was out.of position. Right up until the end of his NHL career, he flashed the skills that helped get him all the way to Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Final in 2017.
