Had good size and strength. Could produce points at lower levels. Was at his best when he played a safe, simple game. Provided poise and leadership at lower levels. Struggled with confidence issues at the National Hockey League level. Lacked defensive polish and was not nearly physical enough for his size (6-3, 227 pounds).
