Is a very good and swift skater. Is also a strong, tenacious forechecker with a great work rate. Never takes a shift off and wears his heart on his sleeve. Injuries can be a huge issue for him. Tends to go into prolonged scoring slumps and generally has consistency issues in all facets of the game in the NHL.
