Gawdin signed a one-year, two-way deal with Los Angeles on Monday.
Scouting Report
Oozes hockey sense and a very high IQ. A natural center, he is a good face-off man who displays both playmaking savvy and two-way acumen. Also plays well in traffic and is not afraid of contact. Is not a great skater, so perhaps that may hinder his production at the highest level. Will need to add more strength to his 6-1 frame in order to maximize his National Hockey League prospects.
Long Range Potential: Decent two-way center with some upside.
