Scouting Report
An overachiever who was never drafted in the NHL, he reinvented himself after turning pro (he used to be a big point producer in the Western Hockey League). Nowadays, he plays a solid, safe game from behind the blueline. Also has great size and the instincts to defend his position with aplomb. Lacks high-end skill, so he needs to master the art of being a role player at the highest level.
