Georgiev suffered an upper-body injury and will miss Friday's home game versus Washington.
Georgiev is expected to be between the pipes for Wednesday's home game against the Kings, Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports reports.
Wants to be a starting goalkeeper but has yet to show the kind of consistency a true No. 1 'tender displays in the NHL. At his best, he is a confident, athletic goaltender who can steal games all on his own. Seems to play better with more activity and can look shaky if he has had a long break between appearances. He has to do a better job of controlling rebounds and tracking the puck through traffic. Must also make sure he does not go down too early.
Long Range Potential: Solid goaltender with consistency issues.
