Kayumov has signed a one-year extension with the Lokomotiv of the KHL, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
Scouting Report
Speed is the name of his game, as he has electric skating ability and quickness. Also shoots the puck with aplomb, so scoring goals is not an issue for him. Sees the ice well and can pass the puck, too. Is significantly undersized for the National Hockey League game, so he must fill out and prove he can withstand the rigors of the North American pro game. Needs to be more involved defensively.
Long Range Potential: Speedy, slick offensive winger with upside.
