Johnstone was assigned to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Monday, according to Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports.
Scouting Report
A very resilient player, he did not produce much in the USHL and wound up at Sacred Heart University in Atlantic Hockey. Is mostly an industrious winger who can play a physical brand of hockey. Even at lower levels, he is not a natural point producer. Gets by on sheer hard work and determination.
Long Range Potential: Depth winger.
