Schwarber is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets, Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Owns tremendous lower-body strength, which makes him a huge home-run threat (and also helps him with his receiving skills). Is also a leader. A pure hitter, he is also supremely patient. Can also play the outfield. Is not a natural when it comes to the finer points of catching, so he may need to permanently switch to a corner outfield at some point. His personality, though, is far better suited to being heavily involved in the action.
Long Range Potential: Excellent, versatile power hitter with upside.
