Stafford completed 18 of 27 passes for 295 yards and four touchdowns in the Rams' 28-22 win against the Patriots. He also rushed four times for zero yards.
Stafford (back) completed 14 of 23 pass attempts for 154 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 20-15 win over the Raiders.
A playmaker who can make things happen in a hurry. Possesses a big arm and very strong hands, helping him make all kinds of throws easily (from over-the top strikes to sidearm rockets). Has good mobility. Displays strong instincts and field vision, as well as confidence and cool. Injury-prone. Has a tendency to take a few too many risks downfield with his big arm rather than going for safer fundamental plays. Gets too inconsistent with his throwing motion and freelances too much, and will force the ball into traffic at times. Not much of a scrambler.
Long Range Potential: Streaky but top-tier starting quarterback.
