Coach Sean McVay said Tuesday at the Annual League Meeting that Stafford (neck) is healthy and "there will be no limitations" when he resumes football activities, Andrew Siciliano of NFL Network reports.
Stafford (neck) is expected to have his 2023 option and 2024 salary picked up to start the new league year, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
A playmaker who can make things happen in a hurry. Possesses a big arm and very strong hands, helping him make all kinds of throws easily (from over-the top strikes to sidearm rockets). Has good mobility. Displays strong instincts and field vision, as well as confidence and cool. Injury-prone. Has a tendency to take a few too many risks downfield with his big arm rather than going for safer fundamental plays. Gets too inconsistent with his throwing motion and freelances too much, and will force the ball into traffic at times. Not much of a scrambler.
Long Range Potential: Streaky but top-tier starting quarterback.
