DeAngelo's (wrist) x-rays came back negative and the blueliner is expected to be available for Game 1 against the Rangers, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports Wednesday.
DeAngelo (wrist) is questionable for the start of the second round, per Luke DeCock of The Raleigh News & Observer on Wednesday.
His terrific offensive skills are negated somewhat by defensive deficiencies and a lack of size. He has also been slowed by a lack of maturity on and off the ice. But all the tools are there: he is a smooth skater who moves the puck quickly and has a good shot. He can quarterback a power play. Has a chance to be an elite offensive defenseman if he improves in his own zone and matures as he moves through his prime.
Long Range Potential: Talented offensive defenseman with flaws in his game.
