Scouting Report
His fastball has gotten better with time, and he is a big strikeout artist now. Throws strikes consistently and can induce plenty of groundball outs because he keeps the ball down. Can start or relieve. A good athlete, he fields his position well and can also hit a little bit. Lacks ideal size for a big-league pitcher (6-1, 190 pounds). Can be a bit too hittable for Major League Baseball and relies too much on his fastball (his other pitches are not nearly as big of a weapon as his fastball), so at times big-league hitters anticipate his heater and crush it.
Long Range Potential: Versatile right-hander.
