The Angels placed Sano on the 10-day injured list Wednesday, retroactive to April 30, with left knee inflammation.

Sano (knee) remains out of the lineup for Monday's game versus the Phillies.
Scouting Report
Generates tremendous home-run power with his swing, and he is also a dangerous run producer. Is a pretty good athlete for his big frame and has versatility in the field. Elbow issues have been an issue for him, and may force a permanent move from the hot corner in the long run. Needs to cut down on his strikeouts to maximize output.
Long Range Potential: Big, versatile power hitter with upside.
