The Brewers and Haase avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year contract Friday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Haase went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer and two runs scored in Sunday's loss to the Diamondbacks.
Scouting Report
Owns big-time power from the catching position, and he also has the ability to draw walks thanks to a keen batting eye and plate patience. Lacks consistency at the dish, in terms of his batting average. He is also only average defensively, so he is more of a backup catcher for MLB.
Long Range Potential: Offensive catcher with a little upside.
