Is a versatile left-hander who can pitch both as a starter and reliever in the minor leagues (which adds to his overall value to MLB clubs). Can strike batters out regularly when on top of his game. Needs to curb his penchant for walking too many batters in order to maximize his value as a swingman. Otherwise, he could be reduced to a role in middle relief at the highest level. Lacks ideal size.
