Ynoa (elbow) failed to record a strikeout and gave up one earned run on two hits and no walks over two innings in his rehab outing Tuesday in the rookie-level Florida Complex League.
Atlanta sent Ynoa (elbow) to their Florida Complex League affiliate Tuesday to begin a rehab assignment.
His fastball is outstanding and can hover close to triple digits on the radar gun. His slider can also dominate batters when he is on top of his game. Is uncomfortable to hit against. Is still quite raw and a work in progress, as he lacks consistency in all of his pitches. Needs to refine his delivery and improve his secondary pitches in order to thrive in MLB.
Long Range Potential: Talented, inconsistent right-hander with good upside.
