Excelled right out of the box as a first-year pro and continues to improve. One of the best at dialing in control for direction and distance, he tailors kicks to situations while limiting touchbacks and return yards. Is almost unmatched for raw leg strength and the ability to minimize short fields for his defense; he generates optimal hang time to allow downfield coverage and neutralize the return. Was the league leader in net average in only his second NFL campaign, so his early success set the bar for future performance high.
