Lazard and the Jets have agreed to reduce his 2025 salary from $11 million to $2.5 million, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Jets general manager Darren Mougey said Sunday that the team is working on a contract restructure with Lazard and hopes to keep him on the roster this offseason, Brooke Pryor of ESPN.com reports.
Fairly sure-handed and dependable as a regular target. Proven as a touchdown-maker. He's ideally-sized for the NFL game. Big hands provide him with ball control and ball security. Strong, with the muscle to fend off the jam at the line. A top-tier leaper who can really high-point catches. Game-breaking speed is a question mark and he needs to show he can be more than just a possession guy.
