Smythe restructured his contract with the Dolphins on Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Scouting Report
He's a good blocker who can really tie up defenders. Brings the height and weight NFL teams love at tight end. Has the strength to maul as a blocker and break tackles as a receiver. Quick and explosive. He doesn't have ideal arm length for a tight end. His small hands limit him in some blocking and receiving assignments.
Long Range Potential: Solid tight end prospect.
