Broncos GM George Paton suggested Thursday that he isn't worried about Sutton's absence from voluntary offseason workouts, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports. "It's 100 percent voluntary," Paton said. "It's the first week of the offseason program. I've talked to Courtland. He's in a good place, and I'll just leave it at that."
Sutton wants a new contract and hasn't reported to voluntary OTAs, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Fairly proven as a go-to target in the pass game. Pretty polished and productive. A big-play receiver with some No. 1 tools. He has a real nose for the end zone and is a major worry for d-backs. He brings the height NFL teams covet in wideouts. Big hands provide him with ball control and ball security. Strong, with the muscle to fend off the jam at the line. Very nimble and agile changing direction in his routes. Brings superb foot quickness and some explosiveness. He shows major big-play ability but consistency and focus are question marks: plays like a star at times and disappears at others.
