Sweat tallied one stop in the Bears 24-22 win over the Packers on Sunday.
It says plenty that the rangy edge rusher was a tight end coming out of high school. His height, range and hand skills have served him well since he switched to defense in college. While he has not added a lot of weight over the years, his superb lateral movement is a key to his ability to turn the corner and invade the pocket, or engage and elude blockers when defending the run. Can be overpowered when stationary; he lacks "anchor" strength in his lower half and could stand to bulk up in order to play in a 4-3 defensive alignment.
Long Range Potential: Talented, versatile edge rusher with upside.
