Chaisson (ankle) was a full participant in New England's practice Friday.
Chaisson posted one tackle and one pass defense during the Patriots' 27-14 win over the Jets on Thursday.
An edge rush specialist, he owns a well-rounded skill set that should allow him to stay on the field in all situations. Fast, explosive and disruptive as a pass rusher, he is accustomed to playing the strong outside linebacker position in either 3-4 or 4-3 schemes. Can beat blockers around the corner to create pressure and sacks. Also possesses the agility to drop into coverage. Sufficient as a run defender, he is strong in pursuit and can manhandle tight ends. His college career was sharply curtailed due to injuries, so he must prove more durable at the pro level and expand his repertoire of rush moves.
Long Range Potential: Depth edge rusher.
