Ravens coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday that Bateman (foot) is "right on schedule" in his rehab process and "chomping at the bit" to practice.
Bateman (foot) took the field Monday for Baltimore's first OTA, Clifton Brown of the team's official site reports.
The 2021 first-rounder (No. 27 overall) has the hands and size to be an effective outside target in the NFL. He is a good route runner and has the instincts to know how to find openings when plays break down (and his quarterback is scrambling). He can catch the ball in stride on crossing routes, but has to get better at avoiding press coverage and proving that he can get open against top defenders.
Long Range Potential: Talented wide receiver with some upside.
