The Chiefs placed Watson (lower leg) on injured reserve Tuesday.
Watson (lower leg) is slated to undergo surgery in the coming days to repair a fractured left fibula-tibia and will miss the remainder of the 2024 regular season, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
A big, long and strong cornerback, he can be a physical presence...especially in press coverage. His physicality helps in defending against the run, where he reacts quickly and hits hard. He has to develop better ball skills, and his fundamentals are a bit raw. His lack of agility and short-area quickness can be a concern, but his physical traits are undeniable.
