Bortuzzo (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Sunday.
Bortuzzo (lower body) remains on injured reserve and won't return to the lineup when play resumes after the 4 Nations Face-Off, per Brogan Houston of Deseret News Sports on Tuesday.
The hulking, imposing defenseman, now in his 30s, plays his best hockey when he keeps things simple. Is not a bad skater for someone his size (6'4"), though he is not exactly a speedster. Contributes very little offensively but is useful in clearing the crease and slot areas, especially on the penalty kill. Should never try to do more than he is capable of doing.
Long Range Potential: Physical depth defenseman.
