Hutton (ankle) was placed on waivers Sunday, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston reports.
Scouting Report
Bounced around the NHL but enjoyed some success as a backup. However, he always struggled to claim a starting role despite getting opportunities to do so. Injuries did not help, as he had more trouble staying in the lineup as he went through his 30s.
Long Range Potential: Useful, unspectacular goaltender (when healthy).
