Kase's NHL negotiating rights were acquired by Carolina from Philadelphia on Wednesday in exchange for Massimo Rizzo and a 2025 fifth-round draft pick.
Scouting Report
Plenty versatile, he displays excellent patience with the puck and plenty of two-way upside. Can win face-offs regularly and is capable of playing either wing position (as well as center), which adds value. Doesn't have ideal size for a National Hockey League center, and the jury is still out on his long-range scoring potential. Must prove he can thrive against bigger pivots and also find his niche in the pros.
Long Range Potential: Versatile, undersized two-way forward with some upside.
