Machado went 2-for-2 with a solo home run, a second RBI and two total runs scored in Sunday's 12-4 win over the Diamondbacks.
Machado isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks.
Has good power to all fields and a tremendous arm. His defense at the hot corner is among the best (ever), but he is also capable of playing shortstop. Is also fairly adept at making solid contact. Struggles at times when he tries to hit home runs too much, so he must avoid being too pull-conscious. Is a bit too temperamental and emotional at times, especially when pitchers throw inside. Does not always display enough on-field intensity and hustle.
Long Range Potential: Elite, all-around infielder.
