Martin signed a minor-league contract with the Angels on Friday that includes an invitation to spring training.
Scouting Report
Has good hands and excellent lower-leg strength, which helps him hit for power (as well as steal bases). Lacks consistency as a hitter, overall. While he has the speed to play center field, his defensive shortcomings could limit him to left field in Major League Baseball.
Long Range Potential: Depth outfielder.
