The Orioles signed Davis to a minor-league contract Wednesday, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.
Scouting Report
A big, strapping right-handed batter, he can hit for monster power in the minor leagues. Is also a decent defender at the hot corner. Can take a walk, too, which helps him. Has major holes in his swing, so strikeouts can be a major issue for him (especially in Major League Baseball). Also needs to become a more consistent hitter for average.
Long Range Potential: Decent power-hitting corner infielder.
