Shamet (shoulder) will be re-evaluated in four weeks, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Shamet is out for Wednesday's game against the Hornets with a sprained right shoulder.
He owns an uncommonly sweet shooting stroke, and is superb from long distance. He can drive defenses nuts from the perimeter, hitting treys then finding teammates with deft passes when overplayed. An explosive leaper who can really get off the floor. Tall for a pro guard, and has good standing reach. Despite his solid size he's not a defensive playmaker or much of a rebounder yet. Is neither a true distributor nor a high-volume scorer (yet). He also doesn't have ideally-sized hands for a pro guard.
Long Range Potential: Sweet-shooting combo guard with rotational ability.
