Pierce and the Ravens agreed to a two-year, $7.5 million extension Saturday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Pierce (neck) was not listed on Baltimore's injury report Tuesday.
A true powerhouse anchoring the D-line. Strong enough to simply manhandle some opponents, and he's additionally very quick and pretty fast in limited spaces. He gets a nice bull-rush off the snap, and is very aware adjusting to sudden changes in the action (helping him scoop up forced fumbles and pick up the run). Short for a nose tackle, and doesn't have the height and length to shift over much to defensive end if needed. He's still learning the subtleties of the pro game, and occasionally lets his temper and enthusiasm get the better of him.
Long Range Potential: Explosive, feisty starting nose tackle.
