The Seahawks and Tomlinson agreed to a one-year contract Friday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Strong and stout walling off the middle of the line. Excellent in pass protection, using his NFL-ideal size, length, and big hands to move defenders off the ball. Gets a nice power push off the snap, and keeps his head on a swivel picking up opponents in his area. Highly intelligent and high-character. Not very mobile or fluid in space, limiting him on pulls and run-blocks out to the second level. Could do a better job locking up and staying with defenders throughout the whistle. Could be even more of a mauler considering his physical power.
Long Range Potential: Powerhouse pass-blocking guard with good potential.
