Ifedi suffered a hand injury during Saturday's preseason game against Minnesota and has been ruled out from returning, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.
The Browns signed Ifedi on Thursday.
Ideally sized for the NFL O-line, with amazing arm length, natural mass and bulk, huge hands, and excellent height. Quick and fairly athletic for his jumbo size, and does a good job locking up his man early in the snap and riding him out of the play. Has untapped talent as a run blocker. Also fairly versatile along the O-line, with ability to play guard or tackle. Not fast in space, and isn't the run blocker his talent would suggest. Too often gets over-aggressive (especially on run assignments), getting him off-balance and missing the block. While athletic he's not very fluid, so may be best suited to the right side as a pro.
Long Range Potential: Huge, versatile offensive lineman.
