Slaggert will make his NHL debut Friday at home against the Kings, per Charlie Roumeliotis of NBC Sports Chicago.
Scouting Report
Prior to reaching the National Hockey League, he attended the University of Notre Dame and was an all-around performer at the NCAA level for four seasons. Is a versatile forward with decent size and sound fundamentals and instincts. Will not wow hockey observers with his talent level alone, but he is a low-maintenance, reliable player.
