Peterka scored two goals, one the game-winner and the other on the power play, and added an assist with the man advantage in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Capitals.

By the age of 17, he was already playing regularly in the DEL for his hometown team (EHC Munchen) in Munich. Has the "it" factor in spades when it comes to scoring goals, mostly because he knows where to go in order to light the lamp and possesses a tremendous release. Has a flair for the dramatic. Needs to add bulk and get physically stronger in order to maximize output at the highest level. Skates well and is willing to dig in the corners to fetch the puck. Needs to work on his passing ability because defenses tend to try to take away his big shot.
Long Range Potential: Talented, confident goal-scoring winger with good upside.
