Cossa was reassigned to AHL Grand Rapids on Wednesday.

Cossa stopped 12 of 14 shots in regulation and overtime, plus two of three shootout attempts, in Monday's 6-5 win over the Sabres.
Scouting Report
A very athletic goalkeeper, he moves well for his size (6'6"). He gets into and out of his butterfly quickly, and he takes up a lot of net because of his frame. He usually anticipates plays well, though he will occasionally lose track of pucks. He plays his angles well and knows how to use his stick to break up plays.
Long Range Potential: Huge, talented goaltender with upside.
