He continues to thrive in the NHL thanks to his abilities at both ends of the ice. Offensively, he has speed, good instincts and a quick release; defensively, his off-the-puck game is solid and he is also quite physical. Can be a leader on the ice and in the locker room. Is fairly durable for a forward who plays all out.
