He was a consistent point producer in college hockey and the AHL but is a depth forward at the NHL level, where he has bounced around. Is willing to go to the net despite a lack of optimum size, and plays with a lot of energy. Still seeking the opportunity to break through as an NHL regular as he moves through what should be the prime of his career.
