Forsberg earned his 10th career NHL hat trick in Friday's 5-1 win over the Blackhawks. Two of the goals took place on the power play, and he set a franchise record for most goals in a season with 46 of them.
Forsberg scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Detroit on Saturday.
Has just about everything you would want in a top-six forward: a quick release, good smarts and the ability to make plays for teammates. He has sound defensive instincts, is dangerous on the power play and can kill penalties if needed. Consistency is not a problem but injuries have been a major issue for him; he could stand to get a little stronger.
Long Range Potential: High-scoring and versatile winger.
